A Moment of Honor · Celebrating Excellence

On April 10, coinciding with the 130th anniversary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the 10th anniversary of the Student Innovation Center, the "A Decade of Nurturing Talent · Innovating for the Future — Conference on the High-Quality Development of the Student Innovation Center" was grandly convened. Leaders and partners from various sectors gathered to reflect on the Center's development journey and envision the blueprint for the future. The event also featured major partnership signings, award presentations, and leadership transition ceremonies.

As a core enterprise maintaining long-term and in-depth collaboration with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, SLAMTEC was honored to attend this milestone event and received the "Collaborative Education Excellence Award." This distinguished recognition represents the University's high appreciation and sincere acknowledgment of SLAMTEC's sustained commitment to industry–education integration and innovative talent cultivation.

Innovating Together · Industry–Academia Symbiosis

The Student Innovation Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University serves as a vital hub for cultivating technological leaders and pioneering frontier innovations. Over the past decade, countless students have embarked on their journeys here, and numerous innovation projects have taken shape and soared.

As early as 2017, SLAMTEC had the privilege of working with Shanghai Jiao Tong University to explore new models and methodologies for entrepreneurial talent development. Together, we built a student-centered innovation platform and jointly established the "Shanghai Jiao Tong University – SLAMTEC Joint Laboratory," laying a solid foundation for deep university–enterprise collaboration.

Over the years, SLAMTEC has consistently upheld the philosophy of "collaborative university–enterprise partnership and integrated industry–academia development." Through comprehensive and in-depth cooperation with Shanghai Jiao Tong University—from joint laboratory construction to innovative talent cultivation, from technical research breakthroughs to the commercialization of research—we have gradually built a closed-loop ecosystem integrating "academic research + technical practice + talent development." By bringing real-world industrial trends and project experience into the classroom, we have supported SJTU students in steadily advancing within the fields of AI and robotics.

As a benchmark enterprise in robotic autonomous localization and navigation, SLAMTEC continues to achieve breakthroughs in technology R&D and has led or co-authored multiple robotics algorithm testing standards. At the same time, we remain committed to strengthening collaborative education across industry, academia, and research—breaking down barriers between universities and enterprises to enable mutual empowerment in both technological innovation and talent development.
