As a benchmark company in the embodied intelligence field, SLAMTEC was invited to participate. On this global stage of cutting-edge innovation, SLAMTEC centered its exhibition around "Embodied Intelligence,"presenting an integrated suite of technologies and products spanning perception → decision-making → motion, becoming one of the highlights of the event.

A Real-World Answer to the Embodied Intelligence Wave

At FAIR plus 2026, technology moved beyond concepts into tangible demonstrations.
Through dynamic demos, system explanations, and hands-on experiences, SLAMTEC broke down embodied intelligence into a clear and practical pathway:
  • How robots understand space (Perception)
  • How they make decisions (Decision-making)
  • How they execute actions (Motion)
The Aurora S 3D Localization & Mapping AI Spatial Perception System provides robots with stable, precise, and real-time 3D spatial understanding. During the event in Shenzhen, Aurora S performed live mapping, showcasing spatial perception and autonomous localization/navigation in a visible and verifiable way, attracting significant attention.

At the booth, SLAMTEC's full lineup of LiDAR products, along with flagship solutions such as the 48V Hermes embodied intelligent robot platform, drew continuous crowds from robotics companies, research institutions, and developer communities.
SLAMTEC CEO Shikai Chen was interviewed by official event media and demonstrated the real-time mapping capabilities of the Aurora S system on-site.

  • Zero-radius omnidirectional mobility: Flexible movement in complex environments with true in-place rotation
  • Ultra-low center of gravity design: Enhanced stability and safety
  • Full-stack SLAM navigation: Autonomous localization and path planning
  • 48V high-current power system: Supports high-power equipment
  • 360° multi-sensor fusion: Improved environmental perception
  • Up to 150 kg payload capacity: Expands industrial and research applications
The platform supports a wide range of applications, including humanoid robot development, industrial logistics, campus inspection, and research/education—making it an ideal mobility solution for next-generation embodied robots.

Sensor Fusion Driving Embodied Intelligence

During a roundtable discussion at the event, SLAMTEC CEO Shikai Chen shared insights into perception technologies for humanoid robots:
CEO Chen Shikai Speech
  1. Rejecting single-sensor approaches Humanoid robots should not rely solely on vision or stick to traditional LiDAR-only solutions. SLAMTEC advocates a multi-sensor fusion approach rather than following a single technical path.
  2. Solid-state evolution of LiDAR LiDAR is rapidly transitioning from mechanical to solid-state. The industry is now focusing on SPAD array chips, an area where SLAMTEC has already established technical groundwork. Meanwhile, LiDAR solutions for indoor wheeled robots remain stable and widely adopted.
  3. Deep fusion of LiDAR and vision as the mainstream Embodied intelligence and humanoid robots will be primarily vision-driven, complemented by deeply integrated solid-state LiDAR. Combined with large models and end-to-end SLAM, tightly coupled LiDAR-vision fusion is the long-term direction.
  4. Long-term investment in dual technology paths Since 2025, SLAMTEC has been developing both VSLAM and visual sensors. With a complete visual solution already launched, the company continues to advance both LiDAR and vision technologies in parallel.

Moving Forward Together to Shape the Future of Embodied Intelligence

Perception defines direction; mobility enables reach.
With fully self-developed technologies in spatial perception, autonomous mobility, and intelligent navigation, SLAMTEC has built a complete link between a robot's brain (perception) and body (movement), delivering a one-stop core solution for embodied intelligence.
